The merger date between Saffron Health Partnership and Shannon Court Surgery has been confirmed for 8th July. We want to avoid as much disruption to our service for our patients and aim to make this transition as smooth as possible.
On the 8th July we will be unable to access any patient records from 4pm at both Saffron Health and Shannon Court. We will therefore be unable to access any previous history, drug allergies and current problems/medication. For this reason we are asking patients who require an emergency appointment that day to call as soon as you can and we will see as many patients as possible.
We will be offering a limited Emergency service for patients who have an acute need between 16:00- 18:30 which does not require access to medical records. The telephone lines will remain open and all requests received during this time will be telephone triaged by a member of the clinical team.
To facilitate the merger we are required to switch off online services from 2nd July, this will include prescription ordering and booking of appointments. We anticipate that this will be switched back on on Wed 10th July
To prepare for this we are asking patients to request any repeat medication which would be due the week of the 8th July before the 2nd July. This includes dispensing and non-dispensing patients.
SMS services will be switched off on 2nd July.
From the week commencing 24th June we will be unable to register patients at Shannon Court surgery. We can however register patients who wish to register at Shannon Court at Saffron Health Partnership in Biggleswade, these patients will then be transferred to the branch site of Shannon Court post merger.
Post merger, to access services, the telephone lines will remain unchanged for Shannon Court and Saffron Health. We will be offering services from the 3 locations, Shannon court surgery, Biggleswade Health Centre and Langford Surgery and these be available for all patients.
The email address will change for both sites to email@example.com
Our new website will launch on 5th July. – https://www.saffronhealthpartnership.nhs.uk/
Thank you for you understanding during this transition.
