Please allow a minimum of 3 working days before enquiring about test results, as this allow time for the laboratory to process your sample. Please note that some tests take longer than others.
Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOne account
- phone 01767 316346 or visit us after 10am and we will tell you what the results are

Blood tests
We offer phlebotomy clinics Tuesday to Thursdays for patients over the age of 16 who have had a request for a blood test by a member of the practice team. If you can attend either Lister or Bedford Hospital for your blood test this will enable us to offer our appointments to those patients who have mobility issues and are unable to attend the hospital. When attending hospital for your blood test, you will need to take your request form with you, which will be available to collect from the surgery.
- Please note that we do not have the capacity to undertake blood tests that have been requested by the hospital or a private consultant.
- Lister Hospital: open 8:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) and Saturdays 9am to 10:45am
